The Facebook Community has once again rallied to help an animal in need!
The post from the Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital about the lab mix named “Coco” has been seen by thousands!
Coco was hit by a car and suffered a severely broken front leg. Her owner surrendered the dog and Animal Control brought her to Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center in Roseville to see if she could be saved. Without an owner to cover the cost of her needed medical care, Atlantic Street took custody of Coco and the Chester Foundation was called in to help fund her medical evaluation and initial procedures.
That’s how it works!! People working together to help an animal companion in need.
Coco is very special. She’s well-mannered, a sweetheart, and good-looking too!
Thanks to Facebook followers of Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital and the Chester Foundation, her story was shared and good things happened!
Coco received the medical care she needed, thanks to Dr. Walsh DVM, ACVS with NorCal (pictured to the right with Coco) and generous donors to Coco’s special Chester Foundation fund that helped pay for her medical expenses.
Coco now has a new, loving family who stepped up and offered to do whatever was necessary to save this beautiful gal.
The Chester Foundation is able to coordinate happy endings like this because of the generosity of our donors. If you would like to help us be prepared for the next “Coco” that comes to our attention, please use the link below for your secure credit card donation.
